What we’re about:
Here, we’re preserving the artistry and community of our craft with a tight-knit group of film photographers. This is a collective for those who seek to find common threads while exploring different perspectives that challenge thought and artistic processes. Founded by two seasoned film photographers (Margaret Wroblewski & Caitlin Taylor) who wanted a more tangible solution to the questions, needs, and even the serendipitous meetings that lead to lifelong friendships.
Inside the group, you’ll have the opportunity to attend 3 monthly talks with some of the most innovative experts — in and outside of our field — and within an intimate setting with direct access to Q&A and the conversations that result. There are also monthly themes, educational resources, weekly assignments, and more tools to support you in your career, and in your life. We’re making it possible for your voice to be heard, and for this style of photography to be preserved while you enrich your own personal approach.

While this is an open and accessible group, Gather Around Film is ideal for established film photographers who have at least 5 years of experience with the medium, and who want to evolve their abilities while adding to the conversation.
