OUR MISSION

From our found image collection

Here, we’re preserving the artistry and community of our craft with a tight-knit group of film photographers. This is a collective for film photographers who seek to find common threads while exploring different perspectives that challenge thought and artistic processes.

Founded by two seasoned film photographers Margaret Wroblewski & Caitlin Taylor who wanted a more tangible solution to the questions, needs, and even the serendipitous meetings that lead to lifelong friendships.

MEET margaret

Co-Founder

Margaret is an American photographer who focuses on creating art around gatherings and crafting images from her soul. She is an observer of environments, a documentarian of experiences, and an artist in relentless pursuit of where the two intersect.

An introvert with a global upbringing, Margaret has a unique perspective and an unparalleled artistic vision—influenced by photojournalism. And today, she lives an art-is-everywhere lifestyle as a digital nomad—chasing cinematic locations and the human beings that invite her in.

MEET elis

Elis is a wedding photographer and Super 8 filmmaker based in Washington, DC, originally from São Paulo, Brazil. Her love for photography began in childhood and evolved during her journalism studies in the 2000s. After college, she explored various photography styles, eventually stepping away from weddings to focus on lifestyle and portrait work.

In 2020, amidst global and personal upheaval, she rediscovered her passion for film photography and Super 8, leading her back to weddings and a community of like-minded photographers who share her creative vision.

MEET autumn

Artist Curator

Autumn Jordan is a film photographer based in New York, working primarily on medium and large format. With a BFA in Film Photography from Bennington College and over 15 years of experience, her work is rooted in emotional attentiveness and a quiet reverence for the present moment. The heart of her work is often found in the in-between: the soft, unspoken gestures that shape how we offer reverence for love, place, and time.

When not documenting weddings, lovers, or humans doing what they love, Autumn shares her passion for large format photography through in-person gatherings and mentorship. She’s deeply committed to helping other photographers embrace slower, more intentional ways of seeing and creating.

OUR WHY

Created by E. Blanco

Margaret and Caitlin created this community to fill a need they both have experienced in their wedding photography careers. The feeling of isolation drove them to create this community where film photographers can come together and inspire one another with their dreams, photography and learn together.
